PGDM(Post Graduate Diploma in Management)


The post graduate programme at SSGI is a two years full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
It caters to the demands of the management students, preparing for challenging careers, through an intensive and rigorous curriculum.

Objective of the Course

The objective of the course is to provide the students with General Management skills required in his/her chosen domain and subsequently take up specialization in any two of the offered streams. This would enable him/her to get a competitive advantage in terms of right placement and career advancement.
The course is designed by industry experts and academicians and is tailored to suit the needs of the industry to get a steady stream of qualified and specialized manpower. This programme separately covers important aspects of Excellence and Leadership from an Indian and Global perspective. The aim is to make students conversant with the principles, practices and implementation of these ideas in the modern world.
Each student is exposed to an amazing range of life-skills needed for the responsible professional of the 21st century, ranging from functional computer skills to suave communication and presentation skills, social sensitivity to time & stress management skills, green consciousness to spirituality and the need for sustainable development.

Course Structure
  • The PGDM programme is spread over two academic years, divided into four semesters, each of 6 months duration.
  • On successful completion of two semesters, students are enrolled for third semester during which they opt for the specializations and subsequently take up placement or pursue entrepreneurship as per their interest and aspirations.
  • Students are expected to complete a summer project of two months duration during the tenure of the course.

  • Marketing
  • Finance
  • Human Resource Management
